Das Victorinox Alox Sea Pioneer in der Thailand-Special-Edition 2013.
(Nummern 129 & 131 von 150 produzierten Exemplaren).

Dieses Modell ist König Chulalongkorn (auch Rama V. genannt, Regierungsname: Phra Chunlachomklao Chaoyuhua) gewidmet. So finden sich auf der Klinge sowohl das Bild eines Elefanten wie auch des Königs, während die Schriftzeichen dazwischen den Namen des Königs nennen: Phra Chunlachomklao Chaoyuhua.

Ähnlich wie beim Deutschland Alox Pioneer finden sich die Landesfarben in der Gestaltung des Messers wie den Griffschalen in rot & blau wieder.
Darüber hinaus setzt sich das Victorinox Logo in pink von der vorderen Griffschale ab. Diese Farben sind – wie auch der Elefant – Bestandteile der königlichen Standarte des Königs RamaV. So weist auch die rückseitige Alox-Schale den Schriftzug Rama V. auf.

Eine Besonderheit stellt auch die Gravur der Klinge dar: Als Fertigungsjahr ist dort 2556 zu lesen, was nach buddhistischer Zeitrechnung dem hiesigen 2013 n. Chr. entspricht.

This model is dedicated to King Chulalongkorn (Rama V). According to that the blade shows the pictures of an elephant and the king while the phrase between these pictures shows the name of the king Phra Chunlachomklao Chaoyuhua.

Similar to the Germany Alox Pioneer the colours of the flag influenced the design of the knife , as you can see on the red & blue alox scales.
Furthermore the Victorinox Logo comes in pink. These colours are – like the elephant too – parts of the royal standard og king Rama V. So also the backward alox-scale shows the name RamaV.

A special feature is also the engraving which shows 2556 as the year of production, which means 2013 after buddhist calendar.
