„The Victorinox Golfer 84mm is a slim 2-layer knife, it is thought of as the predecessor of the modern Compact. Since the scissors tool is no longer available on any 84mm sized Victorinox knife, this model remains very popular. This model was made in two basic tool varieties; one version contains a long thin nailfile/cleaner on the back of the knife, this specific configuration is highly sought after by collectors as well as others. Starting with this knife, there were several changes over the years leading to the Golfer 91mm and eventually ending up with the Compact.“
