Full Custom Mod: Green Micarta Compact Craftsman
Dieser Komplettumbau orientiert sich hinsichtlich der Werkzeugzusammenstellung am Craftsman (leider mittlerweile out-of-production), zeigt sich durch das Combo-Tool aber etwas kompakter. (English description below.)
Die EDC-Tauglichkeit wird dann noch durch Schalen aus robustem Green Canvas Micarta abgerundet.

This full-custom-mod is inspired by the Craftsman (alas retired), but is more compact due to the Combo Tool. So it’s EDC-fitnees is strengthened by the sturdy green micarta custom scales.

Alox-SAK-Mod: Burnt Bronze Electrician Mechanix Plus
Nach dem Bushmaster kamen unsere Cerakote-Griffschalen erneut bei einem besonderen Alox-Custom-SAK zum Einsatz.

Basierend auf dem Electrician-Plus wurde die Werkzeugaustattung um einen Phillips-Kreuzschraubendreher erweitert, so dass wir dieses Modell Electrician Mechanix Plus tauften.
Zusammen mit der robusten Cerakote-Beschichtung in Burnt Bronze (H-148) ist dieses Messer für alle anfallenden EDC-Arbeiten des urbanen Alltags gerüstet.

After we made the Bushmaster we used our Cerakote scales again building another Alox-Custom-SAK.
Based on the Electrician-Plus-model we enhanced the tool-configuration by integrating a Phillips-screwdriver, creating the so called Electrician Mechanix Plus.
Using the sturdy burnt bronze Cerakote coating (H-148) this knife is ready for urban edc-use.

Full Custom Mod: Schnitzer
Gesucht wurde ein möglichst schlankes Messer zum Schnitzen. Besonderer Wert wurde dabei auf die Verfügbarkeit eines Holzmeißels gelegt. Optisch sollte das Messer durch ein möglichst gelbes Holz gefallen.

Herausgekomen ist nun das „Schnitzer“ mit Schalen aus Berberitze (Berberis vulgaris).

Zwar hatten wir das Scientist schon ab und an zu Gast, dieser Umbau war aber auch eine neue Erfahrung für uns:(English description below.)
Konkret ging es darum, dem Scientist durch Einbau einer Schere zu mehr Alltagstauglichkeit zu verhelfen. Gesagt – getan:
Zur Abrundung der Alltagstauglichkeit haben wir dem Messer noch Schalen aus unverwüstlichem Green Canvas Micarta verpasst.
