SAK-Mod: Mooreiche Super Tinker

Nach der kleinen Vorschau am Ende der Maser-Eiche Craftsman Vorstellung, geht es nun weiter mit dem Messer, welches das Thema „Eiche“ wieder aufnimmt und weiterführt.

Die Wahl des Kunden fiel dazu diesmal auf schön und gleichmäßig dunkel gefärbte Mooreiche. Zusätzlich bekamen die Schalen eine Unterlage aus rotem Fiber spendiert.

SAK-Mod: Craftsman Maser Eiche

Nach all den exotischen Hölzern, mit denen wir die Messer veredeln, freuen wir uns, wenn auch mal ein einheimisches Gehölz den Weg auf unsere Werkbank findet.

In Anlehnung an das Explorer Damast Limited Edition 2013 mit seiner Beschalung aus Eiche wünschte der Kunde ebenfalls eine Veredelung mit Eichenholz, wobei unsere Wahl auf ausdruckstarkes Eichenmaserholz fiel, welches nun ein Craftman ziert.

Zum Abschluß noch eine kleine Vorschau auf das noch zu zeigende Messer, welches wiederum das „Eiche-Thema“ aufnimmt…

Reffering to Explorer Damast Limited Edition 2013 with its oak scales our customer wanted something matching to embellish his Craftsman. So we have choosen wonderful burled oak.

Nach dem wir ein Huntsman in das kostbare wie rare Madagaskar Palisanderholz sowie das ostindische Sheesham eingekleidet hatten, kommt nun dieses besondere Stück daher:

Alox-SAK-Mods: Prototyp Wilderness Plus

Wie schon bei der erst kürzlich erfolgten Vorstellung der Alox Mods Prototypen angekündigt, stand diesmal die Intergration weiterer Werkzeuge auf der Agenda.

Da ab Werk keine 93mm-Alox-Modelle mit Schere produziert werden, wurde getestet, wie es um die technische Realisierbarkeit eines Alox-Mods mit Schere steht. Ausgehend vom bereits vorgestellten Wilderness wurde dieser Prototyp um eine Schere ergänzt und rausgekommen ist das:

Because 93mm-modells with scissors are not produced, I tested how to build a SAK with scissors. For this test I used the already presented Wilderness and this was the outcome:
